Russian Gas Company Gazprom aims to use Blockchain

The Russian company Gazprom aims to use the blockchain in order to automate the process of signing the contracts with the company.

The director of the company, Alexey Miller, spoke about this at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The system is available for all participants, who has contract with the company and it is fully protected from unauthorized access and modifications. A

ccording to Miller, Gazprom is ready to commence the introduction of the system. At the initial stages of work, contracts with large industrial consumers will be automated by means of the blockchain.
